LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce will continue its Seminar Series on Finance Matters at noon Wednesday, Jan. 13, at the chamber, 415 Lisbon St.

The 90-minute seminar is titled Social Security: Your Questions Answered. The presenter will be Thomas Carr, a Lewiston High School graduate and Edward Jones financial adviser. He has provided guidance to central and coastal Maine families since 2012. He received the Wall Street Journal Award from the Maine Business School in 2010 while attending the University of Maine.

Attendees will learn ways to maximize Social Security benefit amounts for the individual and spouse based on age, life expectancy, employment and need.

Cost is $25 for members; $50 for nonmembers.
