RUMFORD — The River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition will meet at noon Tuesday, Jan. 18, in the community room of the Rumford Public Library.
Executive Director Patricia Duguay said Allie Burke of the River Valley Rising group will be the speaker.
River Valley Rising is an offshoot of the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition that promotes a drug-free community and inspires River Valley youths to lead healthy lifestyles.
Duguay said Burke will “speak about the progress of the coalition, and share newly released data on substance abuse issues in the River Valley area.”
The group will also receive updates from participating RVHCC organizations and programs, Duguay said.
