AUBURN — Mammy’s Childcare and Preschool, 970 South Main St., was recently featured as the cover story in the January/February 2016 issue of Exchange Magazine, a professional child care magazine. 

Family child care has never been featured by this magazine, nor has the state of Maine been chosen before. 

Tammy Dwyer and her mother, Anita Dwyer, started the business almost 20 years ago and have been accredited since 2004.

Exchange magazine is defined on its website as a bimonthly publication focused on the administration of programs for young children. The goal of the magazine is to support child care providers with workable strategies, practical advice and down-to-earth ideas for dealing with the serious responsibilities and demands they face each day.
