LEWISTON — People interested in customer service positions can sign up at the Lewiston CareerCenter for a 100-hour WorkReady training program taught at Lewiston Adult Education. Students who successfully complete the class requirements will be interviewed by local businesses.
In order to qualify for this free training program, interested candidates must fill out an application, participate in a pre-screening and pass a Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems test at the CareerCenter.
Lewiston Adult Education’s WorkReady customer service program includes 20 hours for basic computer skills, 20 hours for customer service and 60 hours for work readiness. Finishing the program will give students the enhanced skills employers are looking for in positions from financial services to call centers.
