1949 – 2016

LEWISTON — Scott B. Grover, 67, of Webster Street, Lewiston, died on Saturday, Feb. 6.

He was born in Lewiston on Jan. 10, 1949, the son of the late Malcolm Grover and Muriel (Paradis) Grover. He entered the U.S. Navy in 1968 and served in the Vietnam War. He graduated from the University of Maine at Augusta in 1981, with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. Scott worked for Louis/Emerson Chevrolet in Auburn for many years and then for the IRS. Scott enjoyed watching NASCAR and baseball, playing softball, boating, fishing and most of all spending time with his family.

He is survived by two daughters, Michelle Grover and fiancé, Kreg Hanning, of Arlington, Mass., and Alyssa Grover of North Miami, Fla.; his brother, Denis Grover and wife, Madelyn, of Poland; his sister, Vickie Hale and husband, Dean, of Leeds; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

He was predeceased by a brother, David Grover; and a niece, Rebecca Grover.
