BUCKFIELD — Firefighters from at least five towns were on Paris Hill Road late Thursday battling a garage that went up in flames shortly after 10 p.m.
Early reports indicated that the garage, 60 feet from the house, was fully engulfed when the first crews arrived at 484 Paris Hill Road.
There were no reports of injuries. Fire officials said it was believed there may have been a logging truck inside the flaming garage.
By 10:45 p.m., crews from Buckfield, Hebron, Paris, Norway and Sumner were at the scene.
The fire scene is a short distance from North Whitman School Road.
