BETHEL — Northeast Bank recently donated $1,000 to District Exchange, an organization dedicated to supporting those in need throughout the Bethel area. The Bethel branch continues to serve as a year-round clothing donation location for this organization.

The Bethel District Exchange was founded in 1992 and has operated in collaboration with area towns, churches and a group of volunteers. The District Exchange is a thrift shop for in-season clothes in good, wearable condition. Community members can leave clothing donations at the Bethel branch, 11 Main St., during normal business hours.
