KENNEBUNK — A Maine police officer has been injured in a crash while trying to close a road in Kennebunk.

Police say the officer was attempting to close Webber Hill Road, also known as Route 99, due to icy conditions and blowing snow when a pickup truck hit the side of the police cruiser.

WMTW-TV  reported Saturday night that the officer, whose name has not been released, was taken to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
