LEWISTON — Maine Jewish Film Festival and The Public Theatre present a free family film screening at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at The Public Theatre, 31 Maple St., Lewiston.

Please join us for the French adventure film “Belle and Sebastian,” an internationally acclaimed film set in the French Alps during World War II. This story of a resourceful, adorable boy and his dog will enchant the whole family.

The film is appropriate for ages 8 and older. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. The film will be shown in a dubbed version rather than the original French, and the film’s runtime is 104 minutes.
