BANGOR — The Lewiston High School Blue Devils fired 40 shots on goal Wednesday night, but Bangor goalie Derek Fournier stopped them all in the Rams’ 1-0 overtime victory.

Trevor DeLaite scored the winner for Bangor (9-7-2).

Jacob Strout made 18 saves for Lewiston (14-2-2).

St. Dom’s 8, Biddeford 5

AUBURN — Junior forward Noah Toussaint recorded a hat trick to lead St. Dom’s to an 8-5 victory over Biddeford in boys’ ice hockey action Wednesday evening.

The Saints (10-7-1) netted a pair of goals in the first period, but found themselves in a shootout in the second, giving up four goals while scoring two to finish the frame even at 4-4.

St. Dom’s was the beneficiary of a five-minute major to start the third period. The Saints took advantage of the situation with a power play goal that turned the momentum, caging four goals before it was over. Senior forward Austin Roy contributed two goals and three assists for the Saints, while freshman Reese Farrell added a pair of goals and a helper.

Forward Kerry Crepeau tallied the most points for the Tigers with a goal and three assists in the losing effort.

Curtis Martin stopped 33 shots for the Tigers.

Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse 5, Lawrence/Skowhegan 4, OT

WINSLOW — Noah Austin had a big game with two goals and two assists to lead the Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse Eagles to a 5-4 victory in overtime over the Lawrence/Skowhegan Bandits.

His second goal was the game-winner, 15 seconds into the extra frame.

Mark Abreu also had a pair of goals and an assist while Austin Fournier had a goal.

Rodney Bloom had a hat trick for the Bandits (4-13-1) while Gunner Hann had a goal and two assists.

Cade Charron earned the Eagles 11th win of the season with 11 saves. Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse finished the year 11-6-1.

Hebron 44, Gould 43

HEBRON — Sophomore Maddy New recorded 15 points as Hebron held off Gould 44-43 in the MAISAD Championship game Wednesday afternoon.

Priscilla Berdeja led all scorers with 19 points for the Huskies, who came back from 10 points down in the third quarter to tie the game at 43-43. Kayley Cadet contributed 11 points in a strong second half performance for Gould.

Freshman Reily New scored the first of a one-on-one after she was fouled on a defensive rebound with 5.6 seconds left to put the Lumberjacks (12-5) ahead by one.

On the second free throw, senior Sophie Gibson grabbed the rebound for Hebron, and they held on for their first MAISAD title.

Freshman Franceska Halloran added 14 points for the Lumberjacks in the winning effort.
