AUBURN — A tractor-trailer truck and a car collided Monday afternoon on Minot Avenue, police Sgt. Matt Daley said.

A Volvo with three occupants turning left from Leighton’s Store onto Minot Avenue and an 18-wheeler collided. No one was hurt in the 4:45 p.m. crash.

The impact pushed both vehicles across the highway with the Volvo caught under the tractor-trailer. A wrecker pulled the car from under the truck and towed it away, Daley said. 

The tractor-trailer is owned by Jones Express Inc. of Scarborough.
