1938 – 2016
AUBURN — Sylvia Levasseur, 77, of Auburn, and formerly of Spring Street in Lisbon where she lived for many years, left us on Thursday, Feb. 18, at Clover Manor.
She was born on April 29, 1938, the daughter of Roy and Marguerite (Sennett) Chute.
She attended the Lisbon Baptist Church and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 156. Sylvia enjoyed her long walks to the Settlement Restaurant in Sabattus as well as bingo and playing cards.
She is survived by her sisters, Josephine Sanford and Linda Rancourt; her son, David N. Levasseur; her four grandchildren, Casondria and Benjamin Blahut and Peter and Keith Levasseur; and her two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roland “Pete” Levasseur; and her brother, Larry J. Chute.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
