GREENE — Don Bedford and John Soucy were elected to the Board of Selectmen on Friday in a five-way race, Deputy Town Clerk Sally Hebert said.

Bedford, the incumbent, received 81 votes; Soucy had 130.

Others in the race were Bruce Tufts with 68 votes, Sheldon Bubier with 53, and Robert Stevens with 40.

For the SAD 52 board, Diana Morgan was re-elected with 125 votes, beating Eric Milliken who had 95, according to Hebert.

The town meeting will open at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at Greene Central School.
