PORTLAND — Bob Dylan has announced a summer tour in support of his upcoming new album, “Fallen Angels,” the followup to his 2015 album of Frank Sinatra covers, “Shadows in the Night.”

He will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at Thompson’s Point. Doors open at 6 p.m. 

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 18. They are available by calling 800-745-3000, or by visiting www.statetheatreportland.com or the State Theatre box office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays.

The concerts, which will feature Mavis Staples as opening act, mark Dylan’s first North American shows since May 2015. His show at Thompson’s Point will be his first return to Portland since 2006.

All fans that purchase tickets to the summer tour will receive a redemption code to receive a CD copy of “Fallen Angels.”
