RUMFORD — Among the calls answered by the Police Department recently were:

* March 10, 1:30 p.m.: Lacey Richard 29, Rumford, arrested by Officer Matthew Desroches on Waldo Street on a charge of theft. Richard was released on $800 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford Court on May 9.

* March 9, 7:51 p.m.: A windshield was broken on a vehicle parked on Cumberland Street. Patrolman Brad Gallant is investigating.

* March 9, 2 p.m.: Michael Bryer, 38, Rumford, arrested by Officer Matthew Desroches on Waldo Street on two warrants for unpaid fines. Bryer was unable to post bail and was transported to Oxford County Jail in Paris.

* March 8, 9:16 p.m.: Andrea M. Holder, 41, Mexico, arrested by Officer James McLamb on a charge of violation of conditions of release. Holder was released on $800 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 11 at 8:30 a.m.

* March 8, 4:53 p.m.: A Franklin Street resident reported the theft of her purse from of her vehicle parked on Franklin Street. Sgt. James Bernard is investigating.

* March 8, 8:45 a.m.: Carl Ryerson, 33, Rumford, arrested by Patrolman Lawrence Briggs on a charge of violation of conditions of probation. Ryerson was not eligible for bail and was transported to Oxford County Jail.

* March 8, 7:14 a.m.: A Mexico resident reported theft of cash at her place of employment in Rumford. Sgt. Bernard is investigating.

* March 7, 11:43 p.m.: Leann J. Webber, 45, Rumford, arrested by Officer James McLamb on a charge of disorderly conduct. Webber was taken to the Oxford County Jail and is to appear in Rumford District Court on April 11 at 8:30 a.m.

* March 7, 1:12 p.m.: A Maine Avenue resident reported theft of a television and PlayStation 3. Tyron Calhoun, 22, of Lewiston was arrested by Patrolman Lawrence Briggs on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer. The property was recovered. Calhoun was released on $400 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 11 at 8:30 a.m.

* March 6, 11:40 p.m.: Luis Rivera, 31, a vagrant, was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Maine Avenue on charges of violating conditions of release and possession of drugs.  Rivera was transported to Oxford County Jail.

* March 5, 7:55 p.m.: Joseph Hebert, 20, Dixfield, arrested on charges of illegal possession of hypodermics and violation of conditions of release. Hebert was transported to Oxford County Jail and is to appear in Rumford District Court on May 9 at 8:30 a.m.

* March 4, 12:48 p.m.: Merle Perry, 61, Milton Township, arrested by Officer Matthew Desroches on Hancock Street on a warrant for violation of a protection order. Perry was turned over to the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office.

* March 3, 1:04 p.m.: Laura Doroghazi, 29, Rumford, arrested by Patrolman Lawrence Briggs on a warrant for failure to appear. Doroghazi was unable to make bail and was transported to Oxford County Jail.

* March 3, 10:36 a.m.: Shawn Colby, 38, Rumford, arrested by Patrolman Lawrence Briggs on a warrant. Colby was unable to make bail and was transported to Oxford County Jail.

* March 2, 5:37 p.m.: A Mexico resident reported property stolen from her vehicle while at a local convenience store. Patrolman James McLamb is investigating.

* March 2, 5:33 p.m.: Donald Burnell, 40, Chesterville, arrested by Patrolman Lawrence Briggs on a warrant. Burnell was unable to make bail and was transported to Oxford County Jail.
