ELLSWORTH — Authorities say a 93-year-old man died in a house fire in Ellsworth that is under investigation.

State police say Roice Saunders was found dead in his home late Tuesday morning as a result of the fire.

They say the damage occurred in the living room of the house, where firefighters found Saunders’ body.

Police say investigators were attempting to determine the source of the blaze on Tuesday afternoon.
