1930 – 2016

LEWISTON — Helen Irene Field, 86, formerly of Old Town, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 17, at the Marshwood Center in Lewiston.

She was born on Feb. 13, 1930, in Old Town, the youngest child of Phillip and Olive (Hobert) Goodine.

Helen is survived by her children, Carolee Nash, Jeanine Chapman, Annette Bachelder, Holly Davis and Timmy Field; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Melvin J. Field Jr. on Oct. 29, 2006; her youngest daughter, Amy Jo Stokes, in 2010; a sister; and two brothers.

Her family wishes to thank the staff at Marshwood and the staff of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice.
