A lifeguard for the YMCA’s pool at Brunswick Landing in Bath was arrested Friday afternoon on a charge of possessing child pornography, according to state police.
The State Police Computer Crimes Unit charged Ethan Francine, 29, of 67 Whippoorwill Road in Litchfield with possessing sexually explicit material, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland said in a news release.
A search of Francine’s home computers, which were seized Thursday, found material involving children under 12, the release said.
