LEWISTON — Paint-night enthusiasts have the chance to win prizes and display their masterpieces at Wicked Illustrations Studio and Gallery. The art studio will host an art competition based solely on works completed at paint nights or paint parties.

Artists have a chance to win prizes through a viewer’s choice award during the submission deadline of Friday, Aug. 12. Results will be emailed on Thursday, Aug. 18.

Winning artwork will be displayed from Friday, Aug. 26, to Thursday, Sept. 29. Only 20 pieces will be accepted.

Those interested in competing should submit their work by emailing up to three JPG images to [email protected]. File names should appear in this format: Title_Artist_Dimensions. Those submitting works should also include where they created their masterpiece. Submission is free. Only those works created at a paint event are eligible. Must be age 18 or older.

Works accepted by the studio can be dropped off from noon to 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, or from noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Aug. 22-25, at Wicked Illustrations, 140 Canal St.
