LEWISTON — Area business professionals are invited to join the Young Professionals of the Lewiston Auburn Area for a program on speed networking.

The workshop will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at the Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, 415 Lisbon St.

The program is geared to help those who are nervous about networking; who find themselves shying away from professional events because they don’t know who is who or what to say.

This low-pressure event is designed to help attendees bridge the introduction gap and grow their professional network. Presenters will give tips for making the introduction and discuss how to follow up. Attendees are encouraged to bring plenty of business cards and register in advance for this popular event.
