JAY — North Jay Grange No. 10 is celebrating Grange Month on Tuesday, April 26.

There will be a potluck supper at 6 p.m. Members, guests and the public are invited. The Community Service Award program will be at 7 p.m.

The North Jay Grange was incorporated in 1874 and is marking 142 years.

The grange’s mission is to better the community through service and fellowship.

Members and volunteers make and donate hats and mitten sets to Coats for Kids, the food pantry, homeless shelters and other organizations. The group donates clothing and household goods to families in need.

The grange also collects new stuffed toys for local police and fire departments to distribute to needy children in the area.
