AUBURN — The Trinity Jubilee Center’s 12th annual Empty Bowls Supper will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, May 15, at the First Universalist Church, 169 Pleasant St.

Potters from around the state have donated hundreds of bowls, plates and mugs. Over a dozen local restaurants have donated food.

Soups include minestrone, hot and spicy and broccoli cheddar.

Greg and Jessie Boardman will play fiddle music.

This year’s potters include students from Bates College, Maine College of Art and St. Dominic Academy.

The event is free and open to the public. Dinner will be free with the purchase of pottery. Guests can RSVP online for a chance to win a chowder bowl from Edgecomb Potters. Early admission passes are available for purchase and allow guests to enter 30 minutes early and have their first choice of pottery.

Proceeds benefit the Jubilee Center’s programs, including a soup kitchen, food pantry, resource center, refugee integration program and day shelter.
