NEW GLOUCESTER — Four candidates for two seats on the Board of Selectmen will participate in a televised forum this month.

The forum, which is open to the public, will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, at the New Gloucester Meetinghouse, 389 Intervale Road. Tamilyn Wayboer will serve as moderator. 

The candidates are Selectman Steven Libby, former Selectman Lenora Conger, Nichole Stevens and Kathleen Potter. 

The seats to be filled are those of Josh McHenry, who resigned in March, and Libby, who is up for re-election.

Residents are encouraged to send questions to be asked by the moderator to [email protected] before noon Monday, May 23. The format will also include an opportunity for audience members to ask questions.

The forum will be telecast live on local access cable Channel 3 and will be rebroadcast at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. June 3-5 and 10-12. The program will be available as video-on-demand at newgloucester.com in the NGTV Channel 3 sidebar.
