WAYNE — The town has announced its Memorial Day ceremony schedule of events for Monday, May 30.
Veterans, boys, girls, scouts and any group focused on honoring veterans should assemble for the parade at the Wayne Community Church parking lot at 10:15 a.m.
At 11 a.m., the group will leave the parking lot, go down Main Street to Pond Road and back to the Veterans’ Memorial Stone on Pocasset Lake for a wreath-laying ceremony. Then the parade will move to Veterans’ Memorial Park, where the formal program will continue.
If it rains, services will be at the Ladd Center at 11 a.m.

Music will be provided by the Maranacook high school and middle school bands.
Guest speaker will be Col. Christopher Ireland of the U.S. Air Force.
