CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Gas prices have gone down slightly in New Hampshire, but they’ve increased a bit in Maine and Vermont.
GasBuddy surveys show the average retail price in New Hampshire is $2.17 per gallon, down nearly half a cent from last week.
The average price per gallon in Vermont is $2.27, up half a cent from last week. In Maine, the average price per gallon is $2.30, up sixth-tenths of a cent from the week before.
The national average of $2.22 has increased nearly 11 cents during the last month and stands 48.2 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.
A petroleum analyst with GasBuddy says some prices popped up due to a late-week surge by Great Lakes states.
