LEWISTON — Five Money Questions for Women is the topic for the next seminar in the Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce Finance Matters Series.

It will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, in the chamber’s conference room at 415 Lisbon St., Lewiston. Members of the public are invited to gain perspective on a process women can use to identify financial goals and set a strategy.

Presenter Thomas Carr, an Edward Jones financial adviser, will discuss the Rule of 72, systematic investing, employer-sponsored retirement plans and IRAs as strategies for saving. Carr has provided guidance to Central and Coastal Maine families since 2012. A third generation Mainer himself, he graduated from Lewiston High School. He received the Wall Street Journal Award from the Maine Business School in 2010 while attending the University of Maine.

Finance Matters seminars will continue through December 2016. Seminars cost $25 for members and $50 for nonmembers.
