Hazzyrd was a popular southern-classic rock band based in Lewiston-Auburn throughout the ’80s. Original bassist Mike Wise passed away in April and, in his memory, the surviving members will be performing at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 28, at Shooter’s in Mechanic Falls. The show will feature performances by 4Play and Two Other Guys as well. There is no cover charge. Proceeds from t-shirt sales and contributions in Wise’s memory will be donated to the Androscoggin Humane Society, as he was always an animal lover. Hazzyrd includes lead vocalist Larry Cloutier, guitarists Ken Goodman and Steve Smith, drummer Dick Pearce and bassist Charlie Bradbury.
