1943 – 2016

LISBON FALLS — Benjamin Harrington, 72, passed away on Sunday, May 22, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Brunswick on Sept. 20, 1943, he was the son of Leatrice Longway and Benjamin Harrington Sr. He lived in Durham and was a carpenter, all-around outdoorsman and race car enthusiast.

Survived by his wife Linda, during 45 years of marriage, they weathered overwhelming challenges together; daughter, Alison Brewer (born Sept. 20, 1972) and husband, Richard; Dawn Brown and husband, Kevin; and grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Angela (born Sept. 20, 1972).
