DANVILLE — Edith V. Lyons, 91, died Saturday, May 28, at her home in Danville.

Edith was born on May 5, 1925, in Lewiston, the daughter of Homer and Grace Bonney. After graduating from Edward Little High School, she moved to Boston, Mass., working there for several years. In January 1947, she married William J. Lyons of Saugus, Mass., and they eventually returned to Danville to raise their four children.

Edie loved horses and was an accomplished rider in her youth. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening and had a lifelong interest in Native American culture.

She is survived by her children, Michael Lyons and companion Anna Cook, Linda Lyons, Bonnie Lyons, and James Lyons and companion, Rungnapa Suphan.

Edie was predeceased by her husband; and her sister, Louise Vogel.
