FARMINGTON — Franklin Memorial Hospital announces that Beth Hartsock, ANP, FNP, DNP, recently graduated with a doctorate degree in nursing practice from Simmons College in Boston.

Hartsock said her studies included classes in ethical and legal issues, health policy, epidemiology and professional leadership, and culminated with a capstone evaluation research project. Her final capstone quality improvement project investigated clinical guideline adherence in the management of acute low back pain in the primary care setting.

Hartsock provides inpatient care at Franklin Memorial Hospital. Before that she was a primary care provider at Franklin Health Internal Medicine.
