RUMFORD — The Mountain Valley High School Class of 2016 marched through the halls of Rumford Elementary School on Wednesday to show the younger students what it looks like to graduate and to inspire them in their education.

“This ties in with the aspirations program,” said Rumford Elementary School Principal Christopher Decker.

The program focuses on students in grades three to six to raise their aspirations for education and careers.

Decker said kindergarten teacher Kati Mazza suggested that the seniors come to the elementary school. The seniors marched down the corridors, after they completed marching practice, Decker said.
