NORWAY — Voters elected longtime Selectman Bruce Cook and current Budget Committee member Thomas Curtis to three-year terms as selectmen at the polls Tuesday.
Cook and Curtis defeated candidates Allan Moon, chairman of the Budget Committee, and Corey Roberge, also a Budget Committee member.
Cook received 302 votes, Curtis 190, Moone 124, and Roberge 163.
Selectman Mike Twitchell did not seek re-election and is running for House District 71, which includes Norway, Waterford, West Paris and Sweden.
Residents also voted 318-121 in favor of a 180-day renewable moratorium banning construction, renovation or change of use on property within four designated rural villages in North Norway.
