LEWISTON — Pastime used 11 hits to overpower Locke Mills with a lopsided 13-3 win in an American Legion baseball game Thursday evening.

Pastime jumped out to a 6-1 lead by the third inning and tacked on seven more runs in this five-inning game.

Gage Cote had three hits for Pastime. Brock Belanger and Hunter Land each had two. Locke Mills’ Josh Eliot ripped a pair of doubles.

Rogers Post 12, Gardiner 0

GARDINER — Gavin Bates had himself a night for Rogers Post.

He threw a complete game two-hitter,  striking out 10 on the mound as Rogers Post defeated Gardiner (1-1) 12-0. At the dish, he had two hits, including a double, four RBIs and two runs scored.

Drew Lashua also had two hits, including a triple, and scored three runs. Austin Cox and Jarod-Norcross Plourde each scored two runs. Maxx Bell also had a pair of hits for Rogers Post (1-0).
