BRIDGTON — Gallery 302 is welcoming Linda Gray as its latest guest artist with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 1, at 112 Main St. The public is invited.
A demonstration of painting style and techniques by Gray will be given one hour prior to the reception.
Gray has made a career in New Hampshire’s arts and nonprofit fields since graduating from Plymouth State College in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in art education.
For a decade after college, she was a freelance fiber artist. Her large applique wall hangings sold in galleries and juried shows and were commissioned by collectors throughout New England.
For the past 28 years, she has worked professionally in three North Country nonprofits while creating art in her free time.
In 2006, she started painting in oils, inspired by the landscapes she loves. Largely self-taught, she paints in locations off the coast of Maine and in New Hampshire’s White Mountains.
The exhibit may be viewed in June from noon to 5 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends. Hours in July are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
