RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Elbert “Bert” Theriault was celebrated

10 am Friday, July 1, at 10 a.m., at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Greg Dube was the celebrant.

Bernard Poirier was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “You Raise Me Up,” “Amazing Grace,” “J’irai la voir un jour,” and “Let There Be Peace On Earth.” The Old Testament was proclaimed by Dawn Koris. The New Testament was proclaimed by Charlene Theriault. Prayer of the Faithful was offered by Stefan Theriault.

Offertory Gifts were presented by Jess Sayers and Sarah Theriault. Personal reflections were shared by Steven Theriault. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery at a later date.

Pallbearers were David Theriault, David Koris, Bruce Hanson, Mike Hanson, Nicco Palmucci, Jackson Theriault, Roland Theriault and Kevin Soucy.

Military honors were rendered by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard. A reception followed at 49 Franklin St.

Services were under the care and guidance of SG Thibault Funeral Home, Cremation & Monument Services, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
