Winthrop 6, Greeds 2

WINTHROP — Jackson Ladd was a home run away from the cycle as he led Winthrop to the 6-2 win over Greeds. Gavin Perkins had a double and a single for Winthrop. Ryan Baird had a pair of singles and picked up the win on the mound.

Brent Grant had a pair of singles for Greeds while Nathan Lahey had a double and Damien Calder notched a single.

Winthrop 15, Sabattus 7

Winthrop smacked the ball around in their 15-7 victory over Sabattus.  Jackson Ladd had a triple and two singles to lead the way. Gavin Perkins had a double and two singles while Ryan Baird had a double.

For Sabattus, James Borkowski tripled, Ethan Barnett had a double and Casey Dion had a pair of singles.

Winthrop 8, Turner 4

Ryan Baird picked up the win on the mound and had a pair of hits in Winthrop’s 8-4 victory over Turner. Maguire Anuszewski notched a double while Bradley Bourne singled as Winthrop improved to 9-3 on the season.

Austin Taylor, Eli Lind and Austin DeCoster each had a single for Turner.
