TURNER — The Turner Black Bears won their league’s 12U Championship on Saturday, June 25 against the Buckfield Bucks at the Calvin Wells Sports Complex in Turner. The Bears entered the championship round undefeated in the double-elimination tournament. The first game was an exciting combination of big hits and speedy base-running and ultimately Buckfield defeated Turner. Turner came back in the second game to take the title.
