DENMARK — Denmark’s Reader’s Theatre will present an evening of new work at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, July 20, 21 and 22.

Reader’s Theatre is a special performance style in which the actor/readers do not memorize, but read from their scripts, talking to each other as if in a mirror at the back of the hall. Narrators often speak directly to the audience, which sets the action right in the midst of the audience.

Since the first Reader’s Theatre show at the new Denmark Arts Center in 1992, the group has presented a show almost every summer. Past shows include “Fables for Fun,” “No Sweeter Thing,” “Kaleidoscope,” “Love Knots,” “People & Other Animals,” “Funny Stuff,” “Growing Pains,” “The Best Medicine,” “Let’s Laugh,” “Good Ones,” “Laughing Matters,” “Fun Times” and “Just for Fun.”

The suggested donation is $10. Tickets can be purchased at www.denmarkarts.org/calendar/.
