The trustees of Bliss College have finalized negotiations to purchase “The Penthouse,” 76 Webster St., Lewiston, for use as a women’s dormitory which will be ready for student occupancy in September. In keeping up the modern trend in student housing, Bliss has decided on the use of dormitory apartments for young ladies under the supervision of a house mother. Operated on the cooperative plan, the dormitory apartments are economical and unique in providing highly desirable living experiences and training in human relations.

A break In the weather helped when an outdoor concert at Auburn’s Lost Valley ski area brought out nearly 200 fans of the group Schooner Fare Sunday. Proceeds will benefit the Lost Valley Handicapped
Ski Association, a non-profit group of volunteers who provide free ski instruction to disabled people. More than 30 handicapped people participated in the program last year.
