FARMINGTON — Emily Bilodeau, licensed massage therapist, has recently passed her coursework and examination to become a certified Kinesio taping practitioner.

Bilodeau is now offering Kinesio taping at her private practice, Serenity Holistic Massage in Farmington.

To become a CKTP, Bilodeau followed a course of study that includes a series of hands-on classes and a rigorous exam.

Bilodeau’s own experiences with Kinesio taping were for personal athletic performance. She finds that she uses this method most often with clients whose treatment focuses on reducing repetitive strain or achieving better posture.
