FARMINGTON — The Farmington Grange is hosting a workshop on selling food products at 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 4. 

Marshall Piper, health inspector from the Department of Agriculture, will do a presentation on what it takes to produce and sell your product. Topics covered include:

• The application process for getting a kitchen license;

• Nutritional testing;

• Labeling; and

• Handling food products.

The workshop will be held at the Farmington Grange Hall, 124 Bridge St., West Farmington, just across the bridge from Main Street. The event is free and anyone may attend.
