FREEPORT, Maine (AP) — Authorities say a woman was seriously injured when her sport utility vehicle was hit by a pickup truck, rolled several times and landed on two gasoline pumps in Maine.

It happened just before 1 p.m. Wednesday on Route 125 in Freeport. Authorities say the car was hit as it was pulling out of Grant Road. It flipped onto some gas pumps in front of a store.

Authorities say the gas pumps were shoved off their base and little fuel was spilled.

Police say the driver of the SUV, 41-year-old Karen Bradford of Durham, was hospitalized with serious head injuries not considered life-threatening. She was listed in good condition Wednesday evening.

The occupants of the pickup truck weren’t injured. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
