LEWISTON — Local author Marcie Shumway will sign copies of her books from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Quiet City: Books, Art, Gifts, and Heart, at 277 Lisbon St., Suite 10.

Ella’s Chocolates will be there.

Set in Maine, “Finding the Way Home” is a contemporary romance about a small-town woman, Skye Smith, who returns home to heal with a secret. She works on re-establishing old friendships, getting her life on track and chasing her dreams.

“Finding the Way to Your Heart” is a continuation of this series. In this book, Lisa Brown is a woman harboring a family secret. She battles with starting over somewhere new or finding love with a man she admired for years.

Shumway works as a staff accountant for North Country Associates. She has always had a love for reading and writing.
