AUBURN — The Auburn Water District will shut down sections of Lake and Haskell streets Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 2 and 3, for installation of a storm drain. The closures will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Lake Street will be closed at Court Street and at Western View Street. Haskell Street will be closed at Holly Street. Ledge has to be removed, which has extended the timeline for the project.

The district is also doing work on Center Street near the intersection of Cross Street, which will reduce the northbound lane of Center Street to one lane Tuesday.
