LEWISTON — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, together with Uplift LA, will hold the Business After Hours from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, in the tent at Simard-Payne Memorial Park, Oxford Street, as part of the Great Falls Balloon Festival.

This meeting will be catered by Buffalo Wild Wings.

Uplift LA will collect school supplies during the evening to help with the United Way of Androscoggin County’s Backpack Project Initiative, which annually helps children at local schools.

Some of the items needed are: Backpacks, pens, pencils, highlighters, glue sticks, glue bottles, hand sanitizer (small bottle), single-subject notebooks, folders, rulers, markers, crayons, pencil sharpeners, color pencils, calculators, compass, protractors and individual packs of tissues.
