RUMFORD — Among the calls answered by the Police Department recently were:
• Aug. 3, 9:01 a.m.: Frank B. Knapp, 34, of Rumford was arrested on two warrants for unpaid fines by police officer James McLamb. He was transported to Oxford County Jail.
• Aug. 3, 4:21 a.m.: Anthony McCandless, 24, of Rumford was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear and transported to Oxford County Jail.
• Aug. 3, 2:17 a.m.: Dylan Westleigh, 19, of Rumford was arrested on charges of violation conditions of release and illegal possession of alcohol by a minor (consumption). Westleigh was transported to Oxford County Jail and is to appear in Rumford court Sept. 12.
• July 31, 2:12 p.m.: Rhonda S. Welch, 33, of Rumford was arrested on a charge of violation of conditions of release. She was taken to the Oxford County Jail and is to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 12.
