READFIELD — The Capitol Steps, a Washington, D.C.-based comedy troupe, will perform at Kents Hill School on Friday, Sept. 16,  in support of the Aleigh Mills Concert Series. Drawing on their experience as former Senate staffers, the group digs into the headlines of the day and entertains the audience with song parodies, short skits, and political commentary. Larry King, former television and radio host, said, “They’re the best. There’s no one like them, no one in their league.”

The Capitol Steps have recorded over 35 albums and been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS. They can be heard twice a year on National Public Radio stations nationwide during their “Politics Takes a Holiday” radio specials.

Tickets are $75 for VIP and $57 for general admission. There is a $3 surcharge for credit card transactions. To purchase tickets, visit www.kentshill.org/concerts, call 207-685-1635, or stop by the Advancement Office at Kents Hill School.
