“Music for Mavis,” at the Turner gazebo presents a reunion jam Tuesday, Aug. 23, at 6:30 p.m. This year the event comprises musicians Marty Lang, guitar and bass (of Az Iz, Moon Dawgs, and more), renowned Larry Peterson on drums, (from the Delta Knights and the Naples Blues Festival champion), Kevin Libby, guitar and crooner extraordinaire, along with Jodi Alexander ‘s powerful voice. Unannounced guests may appear as well.  A suggested donation of $5 to $10 will be used to pay the musicians.  Bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
