AUBURN — “Best Lawyers in America” announces Stephen B. Wade is the 2017 Lawyer of the Year for insurance law in the state of Maine.

Wade has been honored in “Best Lawyers in America” since 2008 and is currently listed in the following areas: medical malpractice, personal injury, product liability and insurance.

He is a shareholder of the firm and has served as Skelton Taintor & Abbott’s hiring partner and on the firm’s management committee.

He has devoted his 30-plus-year career to representing individuals who have been injured as a result of the negligence of others.

He is board certified as a civil trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and has received the preeminent AV-rating by Martindale-Hubbell. He has also been honored on the New England Super Lawyers list. Wade sits on the Board of Governors of the International Society of Barristers.
