Poland Spring Inn goes all-country Saturday, Aug. 27, when two of L-A’s most popular country entertainers, Debbie Morin and Malinda Liberty, backed by an all-star band, perform as The Country Girls of L-A.  Malinda Liberty, at right,  has shared the national stage with the likes of Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. Her “Maine Christmas Song” remains a popular holiday anthem in the Pine Tree State. Debbie Morin has entertained audiences all over New England and Canada for 40 years, and has performed in Nashville with, among others, Louise Mandrell and Marty Stewart. Led by renowned guitarist Denny Breau, The Country Girls of L-A will be backed by Tommy Thompson on steel guitar, Ronnie Bouffard on drums and Frank Coffin on bass. Tickets to the country extravaganza are $20 and are available at Main Street Music, 134 Main St., Auburn, 207-376-3376; Musician’s Choice, 246 Western Ave., Augusta, 207-623-0400; at the door, or contact Deb Morin at 207-576-8710. The concert begins at 8 p.m.
